There are hardly any people on public transit and Dtla looks like a ghost town somewhat so the social distancing is very easy now. All my friends are now working remotely. Well the ones that can anyway.

Although you and I are about the same age, you remind me so much of my late mother always giving cooking tips while she worked in the kitchen. Thank you. And best of luck to you as we adjust to our changed world.

Thanks Lori. I canned a load of turnip greens and with what was left I canned another pint and the rest of the canner full of the wonderful pot likker that was left. Plus I had a bowl of the greens and broth for a nice snack afterwards. Next project is to dehydrate what's left of the kale in my garden. Much Love

I never thought about dehydrating mushrooms, thanks so much! What is the trick for getting the lid off the jar? I fight with them, and end up using a spoon to break the seal and sometimes I damage the lid doing it.

Thanks for reminding me that I wanted to dehydrate some of my bags of frozen Bell peppers so I can make some room in the freezer. Sounds like a good project for tomorrow. 😀 You are so right about doing projects around the house. That's what I've been doing. Anything to put off getting to the garage! 😵
